Nat Lazzarotto is a Calgary-based trombonist, composer, arranger and educator working in a variety of musical styles from classical, to postbop, latin, funk, and big band. A Humber College graduate, he has performed with artists like Christian McBride, John Scofield, and Benny Benack III. He co-leads the Lazzarotto/Calhoun Quintet with Saxophonist Fraser Calhoun, blending hardbop roots with modern arrangements and original compositions.
